We met you on the northside of Kilimanjaro one afternoon in January. We -group of five Canadians- were about to start across the Rift Valley. Val and I have watched your travels from time to time and admire your fortitude. We wish you well in your travels and hope to see you in Canada someday

Hi Adrian

We traveled together from Okahanja to Otjiwarongo, oh by the way I got my shocks fixed so the car doesn’t make that funny noise any more ha ha. Anyway After we parted in Ojiwarongo you had me thinking for the rest of my trip home…at first I thought to myself ‘Adrian is crazy doing the whole trip by bike alone!! Why didn’t he just use a car!?’ But now I understand, you have a goal and you’re determined to fulfill it. I too have many goals but I never fulfill them and there not even as hard as yours. I made a promise to myself that from this day on (03/10/08) I shall fulfill all my goals no matter what and should I get side tracked I’ll always think of my friend Adrian who went from the top of Africa right through too the bottom on a bicycle alone wearing a big smile on his face. Adrian you’re a great inspiration to me and I’m sure to many others who have met you along the way and I thank you for that, God bless you friend, and the Almighty is with you all the way.

Cape Town is very close now so you’re almost done, oh and I’ll give Lance Armstrong a call and tell him that there is a new kid on the block and he better watch out!!!

We met you at Roy's Camp about 50 km east of Grootfontein, Namibia last week. What a journey! Hope you got that puncture fixed and you're on your way again........good luck! You are a true adventurer.

Wir haben den Adrian Mitte July auf Kubu Island in den Salzpfannen von Botswana getroffen und haben einen Abend von den spannenden Geschichten hören können.
Selten haben wir so jemanden getroffen, der uns mit seinen Erzählungen abends am Lagerfeuer fasziniert hat.
Wir wünschen Dir Adrian für Deine weitere Reise weiterhin viel Grlück und das Du irgendwann an Deinem Ziel in Capetown gesund und munter ankommen wirst.

Hallo, lieber Adrian! Wenn ich dich nicht persönlich kennen gelernt hätte - ich würde meinen, du spinnst Seemannsgarn oder erzählst Jägerlatein. So unglaublich deine Erlebnisse auf der Etappe, die jetzt im Netz steht. Und so fantastisch die Sprache, in der du berichtest. Ich freue mich auf die nächsten Berichte, schon deshalb, weil sie Lebenszeichen von dir sind.
